1. Are the bags really handmade?

Yes, all my bags are handcrafted by Simona Carrieri. Each piece is unique and meticulously crafted.

2 How can I place an order online?

After adding the products you're interested in to your cart, you can check your selection, modify it, and proceed directly to checkout.
If you need assistance, you can
contact us and we will be happy to guide you through your online purchase.

3 Can I change or cancel my online order?

Once placed, an order cannot be changed or cancelled.
If you need to cancel your purchase, please contact us as soon as possible for detailed information. If your order has already been shipped, you can still request a return by following the instructions in the "Returns" section.
Given the nature of the products themselves, it is not possible to permanently cancel the order of personalized products, as they are made based on your preferences .
For security reasons, we cannot make changes to the products in your order, nor to the shipping address or delivery receipt address. However, if you find any errors in the information you provided, please contact us.

4 What payment methods are accepted?

Unica Bag Lab accepts payments via major credit cards, PayPal, and bank transfer. Unica Bag Lab uses the most advanced security systems to protect your payment information, ensuring the absolute security of all transactions.

5 How can I return a product?

The return and refund policies are valid only for purchases made in Italy.
You can exchange or return the product within 15 days from the date of purchase.
Refunds will be issued to the original purchaser by crediting the amount to the payment method used at the time of purchase.
The item must be in perfect condition, never worn.

The item must be returned in its original shipping packaging and original branded packaging, with any accessories, instruction booklets, labels, protective covers, flyers, or boxes.
Once received, the return will be inspected by our Quality Department, which will certify its condition. If the inspection is satisfactory, we will replace the product or issue a refund. Refunds may take up to 10 days to process.

6 Can I exchange or return a personalized item?

Personalized items cannot be exchanged or returned .

7 How can I customize my Unica Bag Lab item?

Unica Bag Lab offers the option to customize some of its iconic models. Initials, patterns, patches, and colors can be combined to give a personal touch to a selection of iconic pieces. Contact us to discuss your preferences.

8 How can I take care of my leather goods?

Over the years, your product may soften in shape and acquire a natural patina. This evolution, combined with the presence of elements such as natural marks, creases, and grain, is highly probable and demonstrates the uniqueness and authenticity of our creations. Any traces left by time must be carefully considered.
To preserve the shape of your product, we recommend not overloading it. When not in use, store it in a ventilated area, using the special bag provided at the time of purchase. We strongly recommend not placing it in boxes or near heat sources, as this can cause the materials to dry out excessively.

Skin

If water comes into contact with the leather, immediately blot it with a light-colored, lint-free, absorbent cloth. The use of solvents or other chemicals for cleaning is highly discouraged. Also, avoid home remedies designed to darken leather, such as mink oil, leather soaps and lotions, or other similar substances. Over time, these chemicals can compromise the quality and integrity of the leather.

Exotic Skins and Special Creations
All exotic skins used are naturally treated and it is important to protect them from humidity, splashes of water and rain.

Avoid any contact with water or other liquids, as they may permanently alter the structure of the materials, causing visible staining and color bleeding. In case of contact with water, immediately and gently dab the affected area with a light-colored, lint-free, absorbent cloth. Also avoid exposure to sunlight, as it may fade the colors.

Crocodile, python, and ostrich skins are particularly sensitive to humidity and heat, which could cause irreparable detachment of the scales. It is recommended to avoid using any cleaning liquid or cream that could stain the item.

 9 How long does it take to receive my order?

Delivery times (in Italy) are purely indicative and are considered to start from the receipt of the order shipping confirmation.

CUSTOMIZABLE PRODUCTS - FREE: FROM ORDER CONFIRMATION 15 - 20 working days (18-23 working days South and Islands)
For payments by bank transfer, delivery times will be calculated from the date the full amount is credited to the bank account.

10 Can I request a VAT refund for an item I purchased?

Tax Free Exemption
Online purchases are not eligible for the tax exemption policy, even if you hold a passport issued outside the European Union.

11 How can I track the delivery of my order?

You can track the status of your delivery once you receive the shipping confirmation email by clicking on the tracking link in the email.

If you ordered more than one item, they will likely be shipped in separate packages, which may result in different delivery times. You will receive a tracking link for each package shipped separately.
